I was able to order tomahawks via text from Owen & was not disappointed!!! He communicated well & when I picked up my order, I was extremely impressed by his knowledge & friendliness. I dont think Owen knows a stranger!! I’ve decided I will be buying all my beef from him for now on! He’s minutes down the road from me, so super convenient.

Amazing experience! I could not speak highly enough for Owen and his shop. Great guy. Easy to work with. I will be using Owen again after we finish off our cow.

On 9/30/2026 Ty'Ressia Day-Mack had this to say:
I stopped by hoping to get pricing on buying in bulk. A solo woman off the beaten path, I'll admit I was intimidated. Owen came out, introduced himself, explained pricing and answered my questions with no problem. By the end, we had a good laugh and I understood so much about buying fresh versus what can be found in store. They also had different seasonings, salsa, and the like available for purchase. 10/10 highly recommend!!

On 9/8/2026 Audrey Iazzetti- O'Dell had this to say:
Went to the Butcher Block today, dealt with the owner Owen. Fantastic customer service, reasonable prices for what you're getting. Picked up two New York Strips as part of my order, best steak we have ever had. Far cheaper and better tasting steak that you can get in any steak house in Indiana. We would highly recommend Butcher Block for anyone who is interested in high quality meat or poultry.

On 8/29/2026 Lexie B. had this to say:
Honestly one of the best butchers I have ever worked with. He's been super sweet, and straightforward with everything from day one. I asked him to go out of his way and smoke some pork chops for me from the hog I had butchered and he tried it for the first time and nailed it out the gate. The cuts are perfect not too much but not too little. I felt like I actually got my whole hog vs wondering where the rest is. I will NOT go anywhere else to have anything butchered or to get meat. Plus the sauces and seasonings? Gotta try them will never buy seasoning at the store again! The store itself is simple but cute! Thank you Owen
